LOL! eBay damn greedy! They charge sellers more this way, because they will charge you a precentage of your shipping cost in addition to the price of your item. They are already charging you a fee on your shipping cost thru Paypal. So in effect they are double dipping.

Ebay is getting greedy, so when I raise my shipping fees to account for the added costs of the final value fee. The buyers will ultimately take the hit, because I’m sick of Ebay and paypal ripping me off. Big ticket items i’m selling thru private parties and not paying Ebay or paypal nothing. ebay has become the place to get rid of junk.
It’s to bad that ebay has become so TOXIC!

  3. Reduces fees? Thats hilarous, the final value fee has no increased as sellers are forced to pay for final value fees including shipping costs and if you want to included shipping insurance guess what…your paying a few on that as well. Ebay, they squeeze your tit until its purple…I’m getting very sick of their b.s.

  4. Not good news for Sellers … Take a look at the Ebay Boards, people are fuming !
Is it even legal for them to take a fee for shipping through USPS or UPS ?

Undoubtedly they’ve done their analyses and figured out that the new structure is simply a different way of getting paid, but does not affect revenues at all.
