which papers have adds for dogs on sale?
i know the sun has ads for dogs on sale but i would like to know which other ones have ads in
The best places to buy dogs are animal shelters in your state. These dogs were abandoned (puppies and adult dogs). And the shelter will give the dogs all their shots and neuter them. And the shelter has worked with the dog to make sure they are not aggressive. You pay a small fee to buy the dog/ adopt the dog to the shelter.
My dog was bought at the Massachusetts MSPCA in Boston 7 years ago. She is a pitbull and boxer mix. She is the most well behaved dog ever. She is 10 years old, going on 11 years now. And she is not aggressive at all. She is friendly and wants attention. The MSPCA gave her all her needed vaccine shots and spayed her (neutering for a female is called spaying in case you didnt know that).

You shouldn’t ever buy a dog out of a newspaper ad, unless you have several thousand dollars set aside for vet bills. Reputable breeders do not advertise through ads. You could probably find puppies for sale in any newspaper.

Many shelters have websites which list the dogs that are up for adoption.
Also http://www.gumtree.com does in the pet section, but be warned of scammers!

Buy and Sell has about two pages of dogs usually, sometimes they show free to good home dogs, and often there are breeders that advertise in.
The best thing is you can get a Buy Sell for free , usually from your local newsagent! Here is the website for it:

Any daily newspaper that has classifieds should have ads for dogs. Make sure you check the homes first to make sure its a responsible breeder not some backyard job who just decided to let her dog have puppies or a puppy mill, etc.

Nancy exaggerates, a bit. While "top of the line" breeders will have their puppies reserved for months, if not years, average/decent breeders, producing healthy pet quality puppies often advertise in newspapers.
Almost any paper will have pet ads in it. You can also try online (such as craigslist).
Make sure the animals are well taken care of; I purcheased a dog through a newspaper four years ago, and couldn’t be happier with him. He hasn’t had a single health problem. But, that doesn’t mean all breeders are ideal.

Surprisingly, craigslist.com has a lot of animals listed.
That’s where me and my friend adopted our dog and ferrets who needed a home.
