true true. Unless …
true true. Unless this is a non-standard form factor (in which case it is NOT a E-ATX board, it should be the same height as a standard ATX board. Not that this matters as it is unlikely to fit in most mid-tower cases like the one he suggested

Nope, ATX generally …
Nope, ATX generally aren’t long enough to support 3way sli and a physics accelerator which if you look at the original question I was answer, the guy was asking if this motherboard featured in this video would fit in his case. Therefore I made the comment I made.

E-ATX boards are …
E-ATX boards are the same height as a standard ATX board but they are up to 3 inches wider. Its not a problem caused by how tall your pc is, more how long the pc is.
I think you are getting E-ATX confused with W-ATX which is both wider and taller, think Opteron 4xcpu boards

sure it has the …
sure it has the same screw slots but if the tower isnt tall enough to fit both the e-atx motherboard, and a psu then well why are you buying that case or that motherboard?

I wouldnt go with the beta if i was you. Custom PC didn’t review it greatly – it is a pretty cheap case made of cheap materials. If you’re planning on buying this board id go for liquid cooling all around, replace the northbridge cooler with a heatplate for water cooling and buy a Lian Li or Silverstone E-atx case – full tower.
If you’re buying a board that awesome you need an awesome case – the beta is shite.

its easier than that really – any full tower case should support e-atx boards seing as they use the same screwing slots as ATX but on a bigger form factor. Not like BTX.
That said, if you are planning on buying the board you probably have a case picked out ready.

SLI …
@Hrabia9933
SLI is what nvidia uses for multi-gpu programs and games – nvidia run the geforce set of cards.
However, this board also works in Crossfire setups. Crossfire is what ATi uses for its multi-gpu setups and ATi have the Radeon series of cards.
In short this will work for both Ati radeon cards in crossfire and nvidia geforce cards in SLI.
